Rangers are a fun class to play. They're a bit difficult to level if you don't group alot,
they work best in groups because of their limited vigging capability. Although their most
useful skill, haste, helps alot in solo play.
Haste increases a ranger's dexterity by 5 points and allows him to attack faster. The jump
in dexterity is usually enough to lower your ac by a point. Thusly, while hasted you will
attack faster and be more difficult to hit.
Like assassins, monks and thieves, the ranger can sneak from room to room, making it much
more safe to explore new and unknown regions. They share the track skill with druids, which
lets you find out in which direction the last person in the room left. It also works in rooms
where there are "permanent tracks". Many quests with confusing rooms that double back on
themselves, can be tracked, saving you lots of time trying to drop $1, $2, $3 etc. to find
out which rooms go where. Rangers can also use the track spell, which allows them to track
to a specified players location instantly.

Pros:
These are the most popular stats for thieves. Like assassins and rangers,
I suggest you choose to be a race with nightvision.
|
Cons:
Low con means you will tick for few hps, and low piety means it will take you a really long time to tick.

Training to levels 2 through 11 is done in the forest facility outside the east gate of Celduin.
It is marked as "O" on the map of Leviathan Way
in the map section. You must use your track skill to find each training
location, if the first location you find is not for your level, keep tracking, go out the hidden
exit you discover, and continue on until you find the proper room.
Training for levels 13+ is done in Parth in the library's Golden Door. It is marked as "4" on
the map of Parth in the maps
section. There are no items or keys required.
Use the Isengard Stat Engine to create your character!
I just thought it might be interesting for people to find out what each specific class' hps/mps are at each level.
